As reported by film trade analyst Sumit Kadel, Yami Gautam starrer Bollywood movie ‘Article 370’ has held steady at the Box Office even during the weekdays. In spite of being banned in Gulf countries, the Article 370 managed to earn 44.60 crore box office collection worldwide by the fifth day.

Industry tracker Sacnilk estimates that Yami Gautam’s action-packed six-day film earned 32.62 crore net during its first six days in theatres. The movie grossed 3.17 crore net on Day 6, February 28, when it had a 12.59 percent Hindi occupancy. The registered estimates mark a slight drop of 3.94 percent from the previous day’s figures, which totaled ₹3.3 crore.

Vidyut Jammwal’s Crakk mints 1.01 crore on Day 5 of the box office

As of Friday, February 23, the political thriller opened with a collection of 5.9 crore net, outpacing its rival Crakk, which had been released a week earlier. In addition, Article 370 has outperformed Crakk on all days since its release. It earned 17 crore net on its first weekend.

Theatres boost sales with re-releases of old movies

As a result of global box office trends, the film helmed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale earned 6 crore in the overseas market despite its ban in Gulf countries. ‘Article 370’ grossed 34.6 crore in the domestic market, bringing its worldwide box office collection to 40 crore, based on early estimates.

Day 5 Box Office Collection for Article 370: Yami Gautam’s new film earns 36 crore globally

In an Instagram post, Jio Studios and B62 Studios revealed that the film has grossed 44.60 crores net worldwide as of Day 5.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the film’s producer expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming response and said, “Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to watch our film. We’re really happy to see it resonate so well with our audience! Please see it at a theater near you if you haven’t already, you won’t be disappointed.”

In a social media post on X, film trade analyst Sumit Kadel wrote, “Steady as it goes! #Article370 continues its impressive run, adding 3.55 crores nett on Tuesday. With a total of 32.60 crores at the box office.”.

According to Taran Adarsh, film trade analyst on X, “#Article370 is trending very well on weekdays… Tue is at par with Mon, says it all … Fri 6.12 cr, Sat 9.08 cr, Sun 10.25 cr, Mon 3.60 cr, Tue 3.55 cr. Total: ₹32.60 cr.

Yami Gautam plays the protagonist of this movie, which revolves around the abrogation of Article 370, which previously granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir.

With a run time of 2 hours and 40 minutes, the film has been given a U/A rating by the Central Board of Film Certification. The film stars Priyamani, Kiran Karmarkar, and Arun Govil, along with Yami Gautam in the lead role.
