According to the reports, the remuneration of Vijay for “GOAT” is over Rs 200 crore. The amount is higher than what Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Prabhas, Allu Arjun, Rajinikanth, and Aamir Khan have minted so far. The astronomical figure made Vijay the undisputed richest Indian actor.

But how did Vijay come to command such a huge amount as remuneration? The reason lies in his fantastic box office return and great popularity. Vijay has been coming up with back-to-back blockbuster successes.

The collections of his films has crossed Rs 2000 crore-plus at the box office. His huge following and critical acclaim for his performances are working in his favour.

Another massive blockbuster with “GOAT”, and Vijay is likely to retain his tag as the richest Indian actor for many more years.

GOAT” includes an estimated budget of Rs 300-400 crores, one of the costliest Tamil films ever. Receiving the whopping amount as his remuneration, Vijay will be adding his name in the list of highest-paid actors in India. By doing so, he has gone past many other top stars like Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Prabhas, Allu Arjun, Rajinikanth, and Aamir Khan.
