Sikandar box office collection Day 1, hit theatres with biggest opening of 30 crores

Salman Khan’s Sikandar hit the theatres on Sunday, an afternoon before the Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations in  country. It bringing a few cheer to cinema halls. The movie, directed by using AR Murugadoss, controlled to stable one among the largest openings of 2025, as per early estimates. According to Taran Adarsh, Sikandar box office collection Day 1 was recorded at Rs 30.06 crore. The film performed an ordinary Hindi occupancy of 21.60 %, with the most footfall coming during nighttime shows. The Salman Khan-led film remained robust in Mumbai and the National Capital Region (NCR), reported industry tracker Sacnilk.

In Mumbai, the film had 21.50 % occupancy throughout about 1,381 shows, at the same time as in NCR, it recorded 21.75 % occupancy throughout round 1,894 shows. The movie is expected to witness a surge in its box office collection on Monday because the country Celebrates Eid.

Trade experts agree as earlier with Salman Khan is in dire need of successful movie. “Salman has to give the numbers. Rs 100 aur 200 crores se kaam nahin chalega (It isn’t enough to supply Rs 100 or Rs 200 crore),” trade analyst Taran Adarsh advised Bollywood Hungama.

However, as compared to Salman’s previous launch, Tiger 3, which was also launched on a Sunday. Sikandar box office collection Day 1 had a subpar beginning on the ticket counters. Tiger 3 minted Rs 44.5 crore on its first day. However, the YRF undercover agent thriller had an underwhelming run in theatres, incomes only Rs 282.79 crore in India. Before Tiger 3, Salman failed to give a blockbuster with movies like Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (Rs 184.6 crore worldwide), the 2021 film Antim (Rs 58.5 crore worldwide), and Radhe (Rs 18.33 crore worldwide).
