Anant Ambani and Reliance Foundation donate 20 kgs of gold to Lalbaugcha Raja Ganpati

As a mark of great generosity, Anant Ambani and Reliance Foundation have donated 20 kgs of gold to the Lalbaugcha Raja Ganpati. This wholehearted donation is to offer a crown of ₹15 crores worth. The Ambanis have had a long association with Lalbaugcha Raja and this year’s offering was another step to synchronize their relationship. Notably, this mandal is the most worshipped Ganpati idol in Mumbai.

This idol of the Lalbaugh cha Raja Ganapati has been care taken by the Kambli family for more than eight decades.

The first glimpse of Lalbaugcha Raja was shown on the evening of September 5 wearing a maroon-coloured attire. It was truly bedazzling in ornaments. The crowning glory of this year’s display is a glittering gold crown. It took two months to complete the project. Lalbaugcha Raja Mandal celebrates this occasion from Saturday, September 7, 2024, to Tuesday, September 17, 2024.

Anant Ambani and Reliance Foundation also set dialysis center at Mandal back in 2023

The donation from Anant Ambani and the Reliance Foundation is to help seal the festive bond between this offshoot of India’s richest family with the Mandal.

Similarly, in September 2023, Anant Ambani and Reliance Foundation helped with setting up a dialysis centre at the Lalbaugcha Raja Mandal. The initiative set up around 24 dialysis machines at the location. The dialysis centre has also set up a blood donation camp to help the patients who may require urgent medical aid. As Anant Ambani and Reliance Foundation donate 20 kg of gold to the Ganapati Temple, it proves their interest in the welfare of society.

Notably, Anant Ambani has several roles in the Group including as director with Reliance Jio aside from overseeing its retail and renewable energy businesses. Apart from this, even the Vantara Animal Welfare Federation benefits due to his contributions.
