In a sad incident reported in Bengaluru Archana, a 33-year-old lady donating her liver to her mother-in-law’s sister was reported to have died post the procedure. Bhabhi lost her life while donating her liver to save her 63-year-old relative. After the procedure for the donation of 60% of the liver, Archana was discharged but soon problems started arising. The story seems narrated by the sister-in-law.
As per the video, she could neither eat nor speak normally. Finally, a cardiac arrest took her life, leaving her husband and kids in shock. Meanwhile, the recipient, who is over 60 years old at this moment still unaware of the tragedy, is recovering. The kids and the husband are also yet to recover from the trauma followed by the procedure which took 12 days.
It was not easy for the family with their hesitation toward the transplant. In fact, Archana insisted upon taking up the transplant in order to save the life of Masi. It has sparked some doubts in others as to why a nine-year married woman would be allowed to undergo such a risky procedure for someone already close to death.
