Kangana Ranaut Blasts Sonu Sood for Backing Vendor Caught Spitting on Food

Sonu Sood spitting on food

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood justifies people spitting on food and says that it is a religious element. This controversy actually began on X which is commonly known as Twitter. A video was seen on X in which a boy was spitting on the dough while making chapati food. This video was in response to Sonu Sood’s new rule in which he said restaurant owners spit on the food while making them.

Under the post a user reacted and said that “The roti smeared with spit should be parceled to Sonu Sood so that brotherhood remains intact”. Sonu responded by referring to a story from the Ramayana. He mentioned how Lord Ram ate the berries offered by Shabari even though they were sour in order to show respect and kindness. He said that if Lord Ram could eat Shabari’s berries then why can’t he eat rotis that have been spat upon?

Sonu implied that he can accept and eat food with humility and gratitude regardless of imperfections. He emphasized that violence should be countered with non-violence and stressed the importance of maintaining humanity and compassion. He ended his statement with “Jai Shri Ram,” a traditional Hindu salutation praising Lord Ram.

“Our Shri Ram Ji ate the sour berries of Shabri, so why can’t I eat them? Violence can be defeated by non-violence, my brother. Humanity must just remain intact. Jai Shri Ram.” Sonu Sood said.

What Kangana Ranaut Said?

Actor and politician Kangana Ranaut criticized Sonu Sood on her X handle. She slammed Sonu Sood for defending a food vendor spitting on a customer’s food. Sonu faced backlash for comparing this incident to the story of Shabari and Lord Ram from the Ramayana.

Kangana’s post mocked Sonu, suggesting that he might soon create his own version of the Ramayana based on his personal views about God and religion. She sarcastically commented on Bollywood producing another version of the Ramayana. Kangana’s remarks reflect her disapproval of Sonu’s comparison and highlight her belief that he is inappropriately using religious stories to defend unacceptable behavior.

Next you know Sonu ji will direct his own Ramayana based on his own personal findings about God and religion. Wah kya baat hai Bollywood se ek aur Ramayana”. She said.
