Delhi Chief Minister Atishi is in trouble as grammatical slip of tongue during Dussehra celebrations at the Ramlila Committee Indraprastha event in IP Extension, Delhi. On stage, Atishi was heard uttering “Falsehood and injustice will win” instead of “Truth and justice will triumph.” This attracted a political row, and the “Delhi CM Atishi slip of tongue” has featured all over social media, with opposition leaders capitalizing on what the chief minister said.

She wanted to introduce the world that truth wins. But on her final word of delivering the message, she contradicted herself by saying lie would win, which cut across the whole message she had delivered.

Several BJP leaders were discovered amplifying Kapoor’s post as accusing AAP leadership of supporting falsehood and injustice. Atishi’s post attracted much criticism as Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal said that truth and justice will prevail.

The video has gone viral and, as reported by the social media networks, has triggered some debate. While AAP supporters have been quick to vouch for Atishi as telling her just that she is a careless politician who made a mistake, others feel it indicates deeper issues regarding governance for AAP.

The incident added fuel to already simmering tension between AAP and BJP in Delhi, making the phrase “Delhi CM Atishi slip of tongue” become a point of political discussion.

To date, AAP has not publicly made any comment on this matter. However, the row is growing with days passing.
