Yogi Government Approves Digital Media Policy 2024 Punishment upto 'Life Imprisonment' on Anti-National

The Yogi government introduced an unconventional scheme which is concerned with social media. As the social media influence over the whole world is increasing and everyone has access to social media and the majority of the people are using it so the Yogi government has made digital media policy 2024 in which there are laws which have to be followed while using social media. If people follow these rules and do certain actions they will be given rewards while the people who violate the rules set by the Yogi government are likely to face serious consequences.

This digital media policy 2024 was accepted by the cabinet in a cabinet meeting on tuesday in which Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was present. It is said that this policy is made to provide important information schemes introduced by the government and the achievements of the government by using social media platforms. 

The influencers are encouraged under this scheme inorder to post about the insights about the government schemes, tell about their details, how they are implemented and how they are helping Indian residents. Therefore people can post the government achievements in anyform on social media which is through videos, posts, tweets, podcasts etc. Moreover their is no limit on the social media platforms as the influencers could use any platform like Instagram, Facebook, X, youtube etc. The influencers who do this will earn a decent amount through this new digital media policy 2024.

Let’s break down the payment details for different types of content across Facebook, Instagram and YouTube under the Uttar Pradesh Digital Media Policy-2024. Influencers can earn up to ₹5 lakh per month on Facebook and for those active on Instagram the potential earnings go up to ₹4 lakh per month. If you’re a video content creator on YouTube you could pocket up to ₹8 lakh per month by showing the positive impact of government initiatives. Short-form content creators can earn up to ₹7 lakh per month for their shorts while podcast enthusiasts have a chance to make up to ₹6 lakh per month by discussing policies, programs and their impact.

The Punishment For Anti-Government Posts

Let’s discuss the consequences of opposing government policies and how they impact individuals. When someone goes against government initiatives they may face severe penalties. These penalties can range from imprisonment for three years to a lifetime. Additionally if anyone shares indecent or obscene material they could be subject to criminal defamation cases. Moreover if a person posts an anti-national post in a content form including video, picture, short etc he will go to life-time prison.
