A disturbing video showing a tiger attacking and dragging a man has gone viral on social media. Many users claim the incident occurred at the Forest Guest House in Brahmapuri, Chandrapur district, Maharashtra. The footage, which seems to be from CCTV, shows the date “31/10/2025” and time “6:42.” This adds to the speculation that it is recent and authentic.
The video has gained more than 58,000 views. Some viewers horrified by the imagery, while others questioned whether the video was generated by AI.

Authorities dismiss the claims
Authorities have dismissed these claims. Range Forest Officer (RFO) Sachin Narad of Brahmapuri clarified that the viral video not connected to the district. “This video is not from Brahmapuri. It is unknown where it recorded,” he said.
Officials also suspect that the clip digitally altered, possibly with artificial intelligence. “It is suspected that this video created by AI,” Narad added. He warned people against spreading misinformation that could cause unnecessary panic in areas with tigers.
The Chandrapur region, part of the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve landscape, often reports tiger sightings and occasional human-wildlife conflicts, which likely contributed to the viral spread of the clip.
