The most prohibitive regulation is the prohibition of marriages which is making waves on social media. Illegal migrants in Russia are not permitted to register marriages in the country anymore.
Notably, it has become a crystal clear statement on immigration control as guided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Included in the measures of these reforms are the general regulation policies that will help cut illegal residence. Moreover, the Ministry said that the illegal migrants who are in Russia will be totally restricted from access to banking services.
Under the new law, they are not supposed to open an account in banks, apply for a loan, or use any other banking services for that matter. With this sort of restriction, Russia sees hope in discouraging illegal immigration. It will help them achieve stricter compliance with rules on residency.
Illegal migrants in Russia cannot educate their children anymore
Another step, illegal migrants in Russia would not be able to register their children at schools or kindergartens anymore. This way, it would fall within an attempt to relieve the pressure caused to public services by those unauthorized residents. Hence, this new law will upset the lives of many families. It ends the chance for children of illegal immigrants hardly to get an education.

It is a centralized system that keeps track of people living in the country without proper registration. Once included in that register, immigrants cannot receive many services, including driving a vehicle and registering property.
It also intends to make interdepartmental coordination as streamlined as possible and tighten up its grip further on unauthorized immigration.
