In a weird incident in Greater Noida, a 19-year-old young shocked to find that more than ₹1.13 lakh crore credited in his dead mother’s Kotak Mahindra Bank account. The account immediately frozen. The matter reach to income tax department for research.

The shocking incident occurs in Dankaur, placed in Greater Noida, where the children determined that the account credited with Rs 10,01,35,60,00,00,00,00,00,01,00,23,56,00,00,00,00,299.

Lump sum amount of money overnight freeze account in Greater Noida

As per reports, the children recognized as Deepak alias Deepu lost his mom Gayatri Devi months ago. Despite her passing away, he has been running her bank account. On Sunday (August 03) night, he received a message which confirmed that his account has credited with over Rs 1,13,56,000 crore (₹1.13 lakh crore). Shocked by the update, he shared the message with his friends or even requested them to change the zeros in the amount.

Deepak visited the bank the next morning to verify. The bank officers checked the account and informed him that it frozen due to the big transaction. The bank has alerted the Income Tax Department, and research starts.

Turns Off Phone Due to Flood of Calls

After the information spread, the 19-year-old began receiving regular phone calls from relatives, neighbors, and friends. Overwhelmed, he switched off his phone.

The Income Tax Department in Greater Noida has initiated an inquiry to determine how any such huge amount of cash credited to his useless mother’s account. It stays uncertain if it was a banking mistakes, technical glitch or a case of money laundering. Officials have stated that the exact supply of the funds recognised best after the designated investigation of the transaction.
