HDFC Bank’s Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) Vinay Razdan resigned resigns on 18 June. As per the notice, 18 June was Razdan’s last working day with India’s largest private sector lender. However, the bank did not divulge any reason for Razdan’s resignation.
“This is to tell you that Mr. Vinay Razdan has tendered his resignation because the Chief Human Resource Officer of the Bank and the Bank has regular the stated resignation with effect from the near of business hours today, said the agency in the BSE filing.”
Who is Vinay Razdan?
Vinay Razdan is an human resource officer who has worked for various agencies in India. The veteran HR government has served because the CHRO of HDFC Bank for the last 6 years and 10 months, based in Mumbai.
Before joining HDFC Bank, Razdan worked for Idea Cellular Ltd, a telecom company. He joined the business company in 2006 and worked for 1 year and 8 months.

Mint had said in April 2025 that Razdan was set to leave the company. However, the bank’s spokespersons denied the development then. The resignation comes against the backdrop of personal banks dealing with high attrition rates.
HDFC Bank hired a complete of 2,10,219 people as of December 2024, as compared to its 2,08,066 new hire degree back in December 2023, per the report.
