Late Business Tycoon Rata Tata has left the third of his residential assets for the mystery person, Mohini Mohan Dutta. He was died on 9 October, 2024 and passed on Rs 500 crore assets to Mohan dutta. According to Ratan Tata’s will, Mohini will get the Rs 500 crore from his residual assets.
As per records, Mr Dutta is one of the inheritors of Mr Tata’s fortune, and it will distributed after undergoing probate and certified by High Court.

Mohini Mohan Dutta is the businessman who first met Ratan tata in 1960s. Their first meeting took place at Dealers’ Hostel in Jamshedpur when Tata was just 24 years old, according to media reports. That time, he find the ways in his family business. Dutta has said in reports that this meeting has changed the course of his life.
The career of Dutta has close links with the Tata Group. He starts his career journey with Taj Group and founded Stallion Travel Agency later.
What will Mohini Mohan Dutta get from Tata’s will?
As per news reports, Dutta has left one-third of Ratan Tata’s residential assets. It consists bank deposits of more than Rs 350 crore and proceeds from auction of Tata’s personal belongings such as watches and paintings.
Media reports show that Dutta has believes his inheritance, and it worth 650 crore. This figure is not match with executors’ current estimates. The remaining two-thirds of Tata’s residential estate was left to his half-sisters, Deanna Jejeebhoy and Shireen Jejeebhoy. Tata Trusts trustees Darius Khambata and Mehli Mistry execute the bills for Tata’s half-sisters.
The half-brother of Rata Tata and his children are not included in Ratan Tata’s will. As per will, Tata’s brother Jimmy Tata will get 50 crore, reports said.
