The Delhi Baba in upscale Vasant Kunj area accused of sexually harassing more than a dozen female students, according to the police. Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati, also known as Partha Sarathy, is from the Sri Sharda Institute of Indian Management. He now faces a police case for harassing students who enrolled in PG management diploma courses with scholarships for economically weaker sections (EWS).

The police reported that at least 17 female students, out of the 32 who provided statements, have accused Swami Chaitanyananda of using abusive language, sending inappropriate text messages, and making unwanted physical contact. Female faculty and staff also pressured the students to meet the accused demands, according to the victims.
The students stated that some wardens at the ashram introduced them to the accused. Based on these statements, the police filed a case for sexual harassment and other charges against Swami Chaitanyananda, said Amit Goyal, Deputy Commissioner of Police for the South-West District.
Accused is missing, Police searching him
The police have reviewed CCTV footage and conducted raids at the crime scene as well as the Delhi Baba’s house. However, he is still missing. Sources indicate he last tracked near Agra, and several police teams currently searching for him.
During the investigation, the police discovered a Volvo car in the institute’s basement that Swami Chaitanyananda used. Upon checking, they found that the car had a fake diplomatic number plate (39 UN 1), and it seized.
After the allegations came to light, the ashram administration removed him from his position and expelled him. The ashram unit he led is part of a prominent ashram in South India.
