The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will introduce a revised curriculum for Classes 9 and 10 today in a special webinar. This marks a significant update in the secondary education system. The new curriculum will start with the 2026-27 academic session.
The session will take place at 3 pm at the CBSE Headquarters in the Integrated Office Complex, Sector 23, Dwarka. In addition to the in-person event, the board will livestream the webinar on its official YouTube channel. This will allow more educators and stakeholders from across the country to participate.
CBSE revise class 9 and 10th syllabus
CBSE has confirmed that the revised curriculum follows the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-2023). The updated study scheme will be introduced for Class 9 starting the next academic cycle.
During the webinar, the board will explain the framework titled Secondary Part One 2026-27 and highlight the main academic and structural changes. In official communication, CBSE has asked all affiliated schools to download the complete curriculum documents for Classes 9 and 10, including the preliminary sections. Schools should share these documents with teachers and students. They are also encouraged to start preparing to implement the new guidelines effectively.
