Kerala Exams 2026: 4.18 Lakh Students to Appear for SSLC, 4.52 Lakh for Plus Two

As many as 418,516 students have registered for the SSLC (Class 10) Kerala Exams 2026, which will start on Thursday, March 5 according to Minister for General Education V. Sivankutty.

4.18 Lakh Students appear in Kerala Exams 2026

 At a press conference in Thiruvananthapuram on Monday, the Minister said that 417,497 students registered for the exams at 3,031 centers in Kerala, 633 students registered at seven centers in the Gulf, and 386 students registered at nine centers in Lakshadweep.

Nearly 26,000 teachers will oversee the invigilation. There will be 72 evaluation camps to review answer scripts from April 7 to April 28. The Minister mentioned that the SSLC examination results will be announced by the third week of May.

HSE exams 

The Plus One higher secondary/vocational higher secondary education examinations (HSE/VHSE) will begin on Thursday, followed by the +2 HSE/VHSE examinations on Friday, March 6.

Around 411,025 students will take the Plus One higher secondary exams, while 341,222 students will sit for the Plus One improvement examinations. A total of 452,437 students will participate in the +2 Kerala Exams 2026.
