The Mumbai University is ready to release its first merit list for UG admissions today, May 27, 2025. This list relates to applicants searching for admission to diverse first-year degree programs provided by affiliated schools under the college. Students who have applied for courses that include BA, BCom, BSc and different undergraduate streams can get the access to the merit list on the official portal.

Once the merit list released, shortlisted applicants must complete the document verification process at their respective faculties. This process will run from May 28 to June 3, 2025. During this time, students need to get their official documents verified and their admissions verified by paying the required fees.
As per the official schedule issued by the University of Mumbai, the second merit list expected to released on June 4, 2025, accompanied by third list on June 10, 2025, if important.
The admission process this year has witnessed high competition because of a growth in student applications and a confined range of seats in top colleges. Popular institutes like St. Xavier’s College, Jai Hind College, HR College, and KC College are many of the most sought-after commerce and arts streams.

Colleges have advised students to have their documents ready, consisting of Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, migration certificates, caste or category certificates (if relevant), and other supporting documents.
