A Bengaluru based engineer, Rithuparna KS has securing a Rs 72.3 lakh per annum position at Rolls-Royce’s Jet Engine Manufacturing Division. Earlier, she was failing to qualify for NEET exam and moving her focus to engineering.

In her 6th semester at Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management in Mangaluru, she finished a 8-month internship with Rolls-Royce. After this, she got pre-placement offer in December 2024 and her salary increase in April 2025.

“I am a excited to pursuing robotics and automation engineering. I enjoy learning new things, developing ideas and offer solutions to the relevant problems,” Rithuparna KS writes on her LinkedIn profile. She also writes that she is able at communicating with peoples, giving solutions and enjoys learning and sharing the knowledge that she possesses.

Journey from NEET to Rolls Royce

Rithuparna did her education at St Agnes College, Mangalore. Originally a medical aspirant, she moved to engineering after failed in NEET. She enrolled through CET in robotics and automation at Sahyadri College in 2022. Here she gain practical learning and technical exploration.

The bengaluru based student collaborated on a project that produced a robot to help arecanut farmers. She earns medals at an global conference in Goa. Rithuparna also worked with a group at NITK Surathkal and took part in the Dakshina Kannada DC Fellowship.

During her degree, she finished a internship and achieve job at Rolls-Royce, excelling in nighttime shifts from January 2025 to fulfill competitive projects. Her performance led the company to raise her salary from Rs 39.6 lakh to Rs 72.3 lakh per annum.
