All Schools in 3 Punjab Border Districts Remain Closed for next 72 hours. All faculties border districts of Punjab’s Ferozepur, Pathankot and Amritsar remain closed on Wednesday amid tensions between India and Pakistan.

Schools in 3 Punjab Border Districts closed due to Missile strikes

In retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack, Indian armed forces early Wednesday performed missile strikes on 9 terror places in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, includes the Jaish-e-Mohammad stronghold of Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba’s base in Muridke.

The Ferozepur Deputy Commissioner issued an order that all schools in the district stay closed on Wednesday, officers stated, including that each colleges in Pathankot also remain close for the next 72 hours. The navy strikes have been done under ‘Operation Sindoor’,  weeks after the massacre of 26 civilians in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam.
