Actor Sidharth Bhardwaj Forgives Delivery Rider's BMW Scratch After Hearing of Mother's Cancer

A touching video from Mumbai actor Sidharth Bhardwaj has become popular after he chose kindness over money following a traffic accident. When a delivery driver accidentally hit Bhardwaj’s luxury BMW, causing major damage, the actor decided to let the driver go without paying for repairs after know about his mother’s cancer diagnosis.

In the video, Bhardwaj pointed out the scratch on his car and asked the delivery driver, Vishal, how much he could pay for the damage. An emotional Vishal offered to pay between Rs 3,000 and Rs 4,000 before revealing his mother’s serious illness.

“So this delivery guy hit my parked car. When I asked him for compensation, he broke down and showed me his mom’s hospital bills as she is in the last stage of cancer,” Bhardwaj wrote in the caption for the video.

“I couldn’t bring myself to ask him for any money after that. I will fix my car, and that is my support for his situation,” he added, hugging Vishal.

Social media users fond of his kindness, video got 2.5 million views

The kindness of Sidharth Bhardwaj has struck a chord on social media, with the video receiving over 2.5 million views as people praised him for not pursuing payment from the driver.

“Don’t worry, Sid. I know it hurts. You will be rewarded for this good deed,” said one user, while another commented, “Got me crying. This is how we can make a difference in any life we touch. Keep up the great work, Sid.”

A third user said, “Watching the full video, I feel you have a big heart to let him go just by trusting his words. I understand how it feels when someone damages our car, which we bought with hard work. It’s not easy to let go, yet you did.”
