Amit Tandon, a television actor and singer, has been candid about his more turbulent past, saying he “cheated on his wife with multiple women,” which really did hit all the wrong chords with his wife, Ruby Tandon. Best known for his hits in soap shows like Dill Mill Gayye and Kasam, Amit said in his latest interview that his antics “handed over the destruction of” Ruby, who, however, has forgiven him, even renewing their wedding vows.
He remembers when he first proposed to Ruby during one of the shootings for his shows, and everything culminated into what he calls a really beautiful journey that unfortunately changed and became dark. He attributed some of their frequent arguings to the fact that he is an Arian, and Ruby a Scorpio, whose personalities are rather hot.
He adds that his being cut off from his family made things even worse since they did not have anyone to mediate or encourage both of them to remain calm during conflicts. He has ended up returning to his old “wandering ways,” something he severely regrets.
Amit Tandon cheated his wife Ruby but she was unaware
Was he astray? Amit admits straightforwardly that he “allowed his impulses to run amok.” Ruby was initially unaware, but the eventual discovery cut deep into her. For a woman who had given up her family ties for him, Ruby was deeply hurt when she found out about the affair, and the damage was almost irreparable. The couple decided to part ways in 2017 after feeling that the relationship had finally reached its breaking point. Once again, fate, as Amit puts it, had something else planned.
In any case, Amit and Ruby moved on. Amit even started another relationship. However, some higher power was guiding them back to each other. Last year, they renewed their vows, symbolizing a fresh start built on forgiveness and understanding.
