Anupama Parameswaran’s film Lockdown has a new release date. Directed by newcomer AR Jeeva, the movie originally set to come out in June. It will now be released on December 5.
Lockdown Gets A Release Date ( 5 Dec)
Lyca Productions announced on social media, “A story of fear, strength, and survival. Experience #Lockdown in theatres this December 5.” Lockdown features Charlie, Nirosha, Priya Venkat, Livingston, Indhumathi, Rajkumar, Shamji, Lollu Saba Maran, Vinayak Raj, Vidhu, Abhirami, Ravathi, Sanjivie, Priya Ganesh, and Asha in supporting roles.
The earlier teaser shows a distressed Anupama Parameswaran seeking help after caught in a tough situation. Later, she walks on empty streets while a lockdown is in effect. The film has music by NR Raghunanthan and Siddharth Vipin, cinematography by KA Sakthivel, editing by VJ Sabu Joseph, and art direction by A Jayakumar. It will compete with Karthi’s Vaa Vaathiyaar, directed by Nalan Kumarasamy.
