Baahubali Part 2 Announced on 10th anniversary of the film, Release on 31 October 2025

Director SS Rajamouli made a confirmation on the 10th anniversary of the film that modified the face of Indian cinema. The filmmaker announced that the Baahubali Part 2 starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia. It will hit theatres as one film referred to as Baahubali: The Epic.

It looks as if a decade after the release of Baahubali, Rajamouli decided to transform his film and release a new cut. Announcing the news with a poster of Prabhas and the release date on X he wrote, “Baahubali…The beginning of many journeys. Countless recollections. It’s been 10 years. Marking this special milestone with #BaahubaliTheEpic, a two-part blended film. It hit theatres in world on October 31, 2025.”

Baahubali: The Epic will release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. Fans have thrilled to pay attention to the information, leaving remarks like, “Baahubali raised the bar for TFI and Indian cinema as well. 10 years of the masterpiece from #SSRajamouli,” and “Super Excited for the trim version.” Some fans puzzled why the film not released in Kannada, whilst others asked Rajamouli for an replace on his upcoming movie SSMB 29 with Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran.

About Baahubali: The Epic

Baahubali Part 2: The Epic will combine Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali: The Conclusion (2017), telling the story of a man who learns the reality about his beyond and takes his right place on the throne. Given that Rajamouli was the person behind popularising sequels, pan-India films, and big budgets in Telugu cinema, it remains to be seen if other filmmakers follow in his footsteps to announce mixed movies.

According to Sacnilk, Baahubali had made ₹650 crore, even as Baahubali 2 accumulated a whopping ₹1788.06 crore. The sequel holds third role in the most-grossing Indian films of all time after Dangal and Pushpa 2: The Rule.
