Pune is playing host to Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, amongst others, on the shooting of Border 2. The Bollywood blockbuster Border set to shot at the National Defence Academy (NDA).
Dosanjh and the production T-Series shared a video of the team at NDA, while a drizzle played spoilsport. The video confirmed the actors and greeting each other, or even noted Deol’s well-known “Dhai kilo ka haath…” communicate.

Sunny Deol was among those who shared the team’s picture at NDA on Tuesday morning with the caption: “When all ‘Forces’ Come together! #BORDER2, Diljit Dosanjh & Ahan Shetty, be part of Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan as the battalion kicks off the 3rd series at Pune’s NDA! On-ground, they’re joined by Producers Bhushan Kumar & Nidhi Dutta, Director Anurag Singh, and Co-producers Shiv Chanana and Binoy Gandhi as the movie moves full throttle. Mark your calendars: Border2 hits theaters on Jan 23, 2026.”
This is the third schedule taking pictures of the movie directed by Anurag Singh. Singh has officially directed Dosanjh’s hit Punjabi movies, Jatt and Juliet (2012), Jatt and Juliet 2 (2013) and Punjab 1984 (2014).
About Film Story
Promising “action, drama, and patriotism like never before,” T-Series Films’ Border 2 is a story of bravery and sacrifice packed with a feeling of national braveness and satisfaction. The film set to launch just before Republic Day next year. Shooting at the NDA expected to feature authenticity in the film.
The dialogues of the film Border, which starred Deol, Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, and Akshaye Khanna, amongs others, have reached cult status over the years, and so has the track “Sandese aatey hain…” which has become a patriotic anthem. Border was based on real-life activities on the Battle of Longewala at some stage in the India-Pakistan War of 1971.
