Border 3 Announced After Border 2 Blockbuster Run

Sunny Deol and his team in Border 2 have already made a big impact at the box office. Amid its successful run, producers have confirmed Border 3. The impressive collections of Border 2 over its extended weekend prompted Bhushan Kumar, the head of T-Series, to continue the series with the Duttas. Recently, Bhushan confirmed Border 3 will happen with JP Dutta and his daughter, Nidhi Dutta.

After Border 2’s fantastic performance, which saw a great start at the box office, Bhushan Kumar of T-Series shared his excitement about the franchise’s future. The film’s strong audience reception and positive reviews show the lasting appeal of the Border series. T-Series is eager to build on this success.

In the interview, producer Bhushan Kumar mentioned that when Border 3 is developed, it produced in partnership with JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta’s JP Films.

This collaboration will combine T-Series’ production skills with the Duttas’ storytelling, which resonates with another generation of viewers. The Border franchise will continue to honor the stories of the Indian Armed Forces. However, the director for Border 3 not announced yet.

Border 2 had an exciting opening weekend. Released on January 23, it received a strong response at the box office. The film started with Rs 30 crore on Friday, followed by Rs 36.50 crore on Saturday, and Rs 54.50 crore on Sunday. On Monday, which was Republic Day, it set a new record with earnings of Rs 59 crore. On Tuesday, it made Rs 19.50 crore, bringing the domestic net collection to Rs 196.50 crore. By Sunday, it grossed Rs 247 crore worldwide, and with Tuesday’s earnings, the film has totalled Rs 266 crore. It expected to reach Rs 300 crore by the end of its first week.
