Vicky Kaushal biggest opening film of career, Chhaava has make the impressive debut on Day 1 in theatres. It breaks the records and earns 31 crore on Chhaava box office collection day 1. This Laxman Utekar-directed film has breaks the several records. The movie became the biggest opening of 2025. It is surpassed the record set by Gully Boy for highest collection on Valentine’s Day in India cinemas. The film Chhaava is emerged as the biggest opener of Vicky kaushal till date.

The movie performed strongly on opening day and earned 31 crore across all languages. The film had an overall 35.17% occupancy in Hindi on 1st day. With impressive records, it surprass the Rs 8.20 crore record set by Uri: The Surgical Strike. 

Chhaava box office collection day 1 records surpass Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force

 Chhaava surprassed the Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force, that earn the Rs 15.30 crore on day 1 last month. It becomes the biggest opening film of 2025. The movie also broke Gully Boy’s 2019 record of Rs 19.40 crore and became the highest-grossing Indian movie on Valentine’s Day

Chhaava is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Directed by Laxman Utekar under Maddock Films. It is a historical action film based on the life of Maratha king Sambhaji and portrayed by Vicky Kaushal. It stars the famous cast, include Rashmika Mandanna as Maharani Yesubai, Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb, Ashutosh Rana as Sarsenapati Hambirao Mohite, and Divya Dutta as Soyarabai. 

Day 1 Occupancy of Chhaava

This film has create the huge buzz in town, and witness the impressive football in theatres on opening day. As per Chhaava box office collection day 1 reports, it saw occupancy of 30.51% in morning shows. It was followed by football of 34.50% during afternoon shows, and 40.51% in evening shows. It also makes 62.55% in night shows. The total occupancy of the movie on day  1 is turned out to be 42.02% and became the highest occupancy of 2025
