Chiranjeevi’s latest film, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, directed by Anil Ravipudi released on January 12. The film has performed well at the box office, according to the makers. The production house officially announced the first-day collections on social media.
With a worldwide gross of ₹84 crore on its opening day, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garuhas achieved the second-best opening of Chiranjeevi’s career. His previous film, SyeRaaNarasimha Reddy, holds the top spot with a first-day gross of ₹85 crore.

Directed by Anil Ravipudi and produced by Sushmitha Konidela and Sahu Garapati, the film released on January 12, coinciding with the Sankranthi festival. This strong opening has provided significant relief for Chiranjeevi, especially after his last release, Bhola Shankar, was a major box-office failure.
After Bhola Shankar, Chiranjeevi finished work on Vishwambhara, that set to release in the summer of this year. However, he chose to take on Anil Ravipudi’s film in between; this project completed in just six months and premiered before Vishwambhara.
Positive reviews from fans
The film received positive reviews from critics. Including premiere shows, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu collected ₹84 crore on its first day and is continuing to perform strongly on the second day as well. Venkatesh played an extended cameo in this film.
In addition to Chiranjeevi’s film, Prabhas’s The Raja Saab released on January 9, Ravi Teja’s Bhar tha Maha sayu laku Wignya pthi arrived on January 13, while Naveen Polishetty’s Anaganaga Oka Raju and Sharwan and’s Nari Nari Naduma Murari are set to release on January 14.
