CID Season 2 Begins Tonight: Here Is Where to Watch

The iconic investigative series CID is making a grand comeback with Season 2, premiering on Saturday, December 20, after a six-year hiatus. Since the announcement of CID Season 2, there has been a lot of buzz. The show that aired from 1998 to 2018 is a cultural phenomenon because of its nail-biting mysteries and memorable characters. Catchphrases such as “Daya, darwaza todh!” and viral memes kept the show relevant even years after the final episode.

Dramatic Plot Twists Await

The trailer for Season 2, released last month, has already left fans intrigued. It teases a shocking confrontation between Daya and Abhijeet with ACP Pradyuman caught in the middle of the chaos. The sequence unfolds dramatically as Abhijeet shoots Daya in a rain-soaked standoff, leaving the viewers guessing about the fallouts.

The second season would be a mix of great murder mysteries, daring rescues, and dramatic actions. The suspense-filled plot, and the new episodes hope to keep the audience engaged.

CID Season 2 Returning Cast and Crew

CID Season 2 will bring back the favorite faces, Shivaji Satam as the witty ACP Pradyuman, Dayanand Shetty as the reliable Daya, and Aditya Srivastava as the determined Abhijeet. The other fan-favorite Dr. Salunkhe, played by Narendra Gupta, and Inspector Fredricks, played by Dinesh Phadnis, also return to the show. The direction of the show is once again taken up by BP Singh, who directed the original series.

The first season of CID will run for more than 21 years in Indian television history, creating a dearth of memories for everyone.
