Filmmaker Aditya Dhar’s espionage drama “ Dhurandhar ” has become a global box office success, earning Rs 552.70 crore worldwide in just 10 days, the makers announced on Monday.
The Ranveer Singh-led movie, which hit theaters on December 5, made Rs 58.20 crore nett in India on its second Sunday (day 10). This marks the highest Sunday ever for a Hindi film, bringing its total net collection in India to Rs 364.60 crore.

The film’s total gross in India is Rs 430.20 crore, while its overseas earnings have reached Rs 122.50 crore. The film opened with a net of Rs 218 crore in its first week. It continued with Rs 34.70 crore on the second Friday and Rs 53.70 crore on the second Saturday, leading to the impressive haul on the second Sunday.
In a statement, the makers noted that the film has had an exceptional and record-breaking run. They pointed out that every day since the first Monday has exceeded the previous day’s earnings. They also indicated that “Dhurandhar” has broken records for the biggest second Friday, second Saturday, and second Sunday in Hindi cinema history.
