Actor Mukul Dev died on May 23 after some days in the ICU. He was 54 and is survived by his brother, Rahul Dev. Vindu Dara Singh, who worked with Mukul in ‘Son of Sardar’, confirmed to media. He lamented that Mukul might not be able to see himself at the big screen.

“After his discern’s loss of life, Mukul was retaining to himself. He would even step out of the house or meet every person. His health condition worst in the previous few days and he was in the clinic. My condolences to his brother and all people who knew and loved him. He was an best person, and we will all pass over him,” Singh said.
Mukul’s friend and actor Deepshika Nagpal also posted a photo with the past due actor on Instagram. Talking to media, she shared that Mukul by not spoke about his fitness to everyone. They have a pals institution on WhatsApp in which they might often communicate. “I awoke in the morning to this news. I have been calling his range considering the fact that then, hoping he might select up,” she said, getting emotional.
Actor works in Hindi and Punjabi Films
Mukul was known for his works throughout Hindi and Punjabi films, TV serials, and music albums. He also appeared in some Bengali, Malayalam, Kannada, and Telugu movies. For his overall performance in ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’, he was honoured with the 7th Amrish Puri Award for excellence in acting.
Born in Delhi, the actor started his career on TV via a serial, ‘Mumkin’ playing the role of Vijay Pandey in 1996. He also acted in Doordarshan’s ‘Ek Se Badh Kar Ek’, a comedy Bollywood countdown show. Mukul Dev made his Bollywood debut in 1996 with ‘Dastak’ as ACP Rohit Malhotra alongside Sushmita Sen. He was part of diverse different films which includes ‘Qila’ (1998), ‘Wajood’ (1998), ‘Kohram’ (1999) and ‘Mujhe Meri Biwi Se Bachaao’ (2001) and more.
