While fans were eagerly looking ahead to the cherished Hera Pheri franchise to go back with a third series, the controversies surrounding the movie don’t appear to cease. After Paresh Rawal declared his exit from the comedy movie on social media, it is reported that his co-star Akshay Kumar is suing him for Rs 25 crore for dropping out of the mission. Akshay is also the producer of Hera Pheri 3, having offered the movie’s rights from producer Firoz Nadiadwala. The actor is pursuing a legal action through his production house, Cape of Good Films. This is the first time Akshay has sued a fellow actor in his 35-year-long career.
Hera Pheri 3 had already begun capturing in April this year, with Paresh filming along Akshay and Suniel Shetty. According to the website, Paresh was determined to leave the film after the producer already invested money into the shoot.

After Akshay Kumar sue Paresh, he tweeted around his go out from Hera Pheri. The actor clarified that, while it speculated that he left the movie because of some differences, the reality was different. While the exact purpose of his going out isn’t clear, the report said that the actor “did not sense like being a part of the film.”
In his tweet, Paresh had written, “I wish to position it on file that my choice to step away from Hera Pheri 3 was not due to few differences. I hold gigantic love, recognition, and religion in Mr Priyadarshan the movie director.”
