Hilarious: Bengaluru groom Ramnath Shenoy forgot his Kurta, underwear, Swiggy Instamart came to rescue

A Bengaluru groom, Ramnath Shenoy, has gone viral on social media for his hilarious pre-Haldi ceremony misadventure. Sharing the ordeal on X (formerly Twitter), Shenoy recounted how a forgotten yellow kurta led to frantic moments before the ceremony, but Swiggy Instamart came to his rescue—not once, but twice.

He wakes up in the morning, remembering he had left the all-important yellow kurta behind. With his family fuming, Shenoy orders from Swiggy Instamart for a quick fix. Within eight minutes, a Manyavar kurta is at his doorstep. Ten minutes later, Shenoy posts a picture of himself rocking the outfit.

But the drama wasn’t over yet. As soon as the ceremony was over, Shenoy found himself drenched in water without any spare undergarments. Once again, Swiggy Instamart saved the day, delivering fresh essentials within 10 minutes. Thanks to the timely assistance, Shenoy joked that the delivery service deserved a spot at his wedding mandap.

He posted, “36 hours to my wedding, and @SwiggyInstamart deserves a seat at the mandap! Haldi morning chaos = forgot my yellow kurta. Family wrath loading… until Instamart saved the day with a Manyavar kurta in 8 minutes.

Then came the Haldi waterworks—soaked to the core, with no backup undergarments. Instamart delivered a fresh pair in 10 minutes. At this rate, I might just add them to the invite list. Fingers crossed for no more surprises.”

Even Swiggy Instamart joined the fun. Their customer care account responded, “Your kind words mean the world to us, Ramnath! We’re committed to making every moment seamless.”

The incident caused many people to talk about the increased reliance on these quick-commerce platforms for urgent needs, with many declaring Instamart efficient.
