The South superstar, Mohanlal much anticipated film Vrusshabha has a new release date. Originally set to hit theaters on October 16, the film directed by Nanda Kishore will now come out on November 6.
To announce this change, Mohanlal shared a new poster of Vrusshabha on X. The poster showed the actor in two different looks. First, Mohanlal sat on a golden chair, dressed in a blazer, shirt, and trousers. With one leg crossed, he gazed straight into the camera. In his other look, Mohanlal was almost unrecognizable. He had long hair, a thick beard, and a septum ring.

The note attached to the poster read, “The ground shakes. The sky burns. Future has chosen its warrior. #Vrusshabha arrives on 6th November!”
It’s important to mention that Vrusshabha will be Mohanlal’s first film after receiving the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, India’s highest honor in cinema, at the National Film Awards 2025. At 65, Mohanlal became the youngest person to receive this prestigious award. In his speech, the superstar said, “As a representative of the Malayalam film industry, I am deeply humbled to be the youngest recipient and only the second ever from the state to given this national recognition.”
Vrusshabha film going to release in multiple languages
Returning to Vrusshabha, the film jointly produced by Connekkt Media and Balaji Telefilms, in collaboration with Abishek S Vyas Studios. It will be released in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. Along with Mohanlal, Samarjit Lankesh, Ragini Dwivedi, and Nayan Sarika featured in this period fantasy action drama.
