Monalisa Bhosle, the young woman who became an overnight sensation during the Prayagraj Kumbh Mela in 2025, has started a major controversy. She claims that film director Sanoj Mishra misbehaved with her and several minor girls while pretending to offer them film roles.

She made this allegation at a press conference in Kochi, where she was joined by her husband, Farman Khan. She also asked for help from the Central and State governments of Kerala and Madhya Pradesh, stating that she and her husband were receiving death threats.
Monalisa and Farman told reporters that they were both receiving threats to their lives. She mentioned that people were burning her posters.

A content creator filmed her selling handmade malas and rudraksha beads at the Triveni Sangam during the Kumbh Mela, which caused the video to go viral. She recently married her husband, Farman, by fleeing to Kerala after her parents opposed their inter-religious marriage. Recently, she arrived in Thiruvananthapuram for a film shoot.
