Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar continues to make waves at the box office, while discussions around its negative reviews persist. R. Madhavan, a main cast member, has now shared his thoughts on the situation, expressing that he expected this reaction. He mentioned that he anticipated the backlash even before the film’s release.
What’s Happens to Dhurandhar film
In an interview with Puja Talwar for Esquire India, R. Madhavan said, “I knew that this would impact society. Some people would give it very low ratings, while others would eventually wonder, ‘Wow, this happened.’ I’m not saying this out of malice; it’s time for us as actors to evolve. I don’t want people to see me solely as the hero I believe I am.
So how do I change? I think everyone in the industry needs to change, which is why I knew this would be iconic. He added, “That said, you can express your opinions freely, but obituaries were written even before the film came out. After its release, some called it a disaster. One wonders if there is an agenda behind this. However, as actors, we thrive in such situations.”
