Raid 2 Advance Booking Sells 1 lakh+ tickets: Set to Release on 1 May

All eyes at the moment are on Ajay Devgn and Riteish Deshmukh’s Raid 2. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the crime thriller movie will releases on May 1. The advanced booking window opened for the general public on April 27. With less than 24 hours left for Raid 2’s release, an anticipated record of boost bookings has released.

As per early estimates, Raid 2 sold over 1 lakh tickets till 6:00 AM on Wednesday. Without blocked seats, the gathering is about Rs 2.87 crore. As report, 1,08,416 tickets have been bought for the first day.

According to Bollywood Hungama’s record, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) asked the makers to update ‘Railway Mantri’ with ‘Bada Mantri’ and instructed them to take away an 8-second ‘Paisa, hathyar, taakat’ talk on the starting of the movie. In March, it was passed with a U/A 7+ certificate. However, with the inclusion of Tamannaah Bhatia’s song, Nasha, it was changed to U/A 13+.

The makers of Raid 2 also opted for voluntary changes. The earlier runtime was 2 hours, half-hour, and 53 seconds. Now, the final duration is 2 hours, 18 minutes, and 57 seconds.

Star Cast of Movie

Starring Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Vaani Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Supriya Pathak, Amit Sial, among others, Raid 2 is produced via Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar. The film is offered by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series and is a Panorama Studios production.

Raid 2 marks the return of IRS officer Amay Patnaik. This time, his opponent is Dada Bhai, an influential flesh presser. The teaser of the film was released in March, while the trailer released on April 8.
