He returned to Mumbai after his father-in-law was admitted to the hospital and had been on a ventilator since Monday night. Unfortunately, he could not survive the medical emergency.

According to Hindustan Times, a family member said, “He was fit and fine, ready to have dinner when suddenly he suffered a stroke. He was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he was on a ventilator. The entire family is in shock. Neha and Arjun had just met him before their trip. This was a sudden shock, and we are all still trying to come to terms with it.”

As soon as they received the news, Arjun and Neha arrived in Mumbai on Tuesday and have been at the hospital ever since.

Neha bijlani wrote tribute to father

Arjun Bijlani had a close bond with his father-in-law. A family member shared, “Yes, since Arjun’s father passed away quite early, he was very close to him. He was like a father figure to Arjun. For Neha, he was as close as any father is to his daughter.”

Previously, Neha wrote a special tribute to her father on Father’s Day. She shared a picture with him and wrote in the caption, “Happy Father’s Day to my daddy. I’ve always admired the way you loved, led, and protected our family.”

She added, “I always hoped Arjun would learn from you — your strength, your patience, and the way you make fatherhood look like a blessing. A father’s love is the foundation of a family, and yours has shaped who I am and what I seek in the people I love. Thank you for being the example every father should strive to be. Love you, daddy.” Arjun Bijlani married Neha Swami in May 2013. The couple has a son, Ayaan Bijlani.
