Ramayana 1st glimpse out today: Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi Captivate Audiences on Big Scale

The epic ‘Ramayana’ is making its way back to the big display in a grand new avatar, helmed by  acclaimed director Nitesh Tiwari. The Ranbir Kapoor much-awaited title glimpse release today on  July 3. In a unique flow, the release will take place across 9 Indian towns, presenting enthusiasts a nationwide cinematic second.

Fronted by Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana, the film guarantees a powerful retelling of the historic saga, aimed toward each Indian and worldwide audiences. The event held in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Pune, Kochi, and Bengaluru, with Hyderabad’s iconic Prasads Multiplex also joining the list.

However, the event (in Mumbai/Delhi) unlikely to attended by most of people. Ranbir Kapoor is currently in London together with his wife Alia Bhatt and mom Neetu Kapoor, even as Yash and his wife Radhika are also vacationing overseas.

Cast, Crew and release details

The first poster of ‘Ramayana’ unveiled by Namit Malhotra, Founder and Global CEO of Prime Focus Studios, also one of the producers of the magnum opus, revealing that the film can be released in  components in November 2024.

‘Ramayana’, made on a grand scale, has passed the production rate of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ (Rs 600 crore), ‘RRR’ and ‘Adipurush’ (each Rs 550 crore), as mentioned through Hindustan Times. The Ranbir Kapoor movie’s expected budget is about Rs 835 crore.

 Ravi Dubey plays Lakshman, while Sunny Deol plays role of Hanuman. The cast also includes Kajal Aggarwal as Mandodari and Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi. The superstar-studded film is ready to release in two parts during Diwali 2026 and Diwali 2027.
