Actor Nadeem Khan, who was last seen in the movie ‘Dhurandhar’, has been arrested for repeatedly raping a house worker over nearly a decade. She says he made a false promise of marriage.
House maid alleged Actor Nadeem Khan with rape charges
Police reported that the 41-year-old woman approached the Versova police after Khan refused to marry her. In her complaint, she explained that she started working at Khan’s home about ten years ago. She later began a physical relationship with him after he allegedly promised to marry her. The relationship lasted for years, but when he did not fulfill his promise, she decided to file a complaint.
Since the alleged offenses occurred at the actor’s house in Malwani, the case moved from Versova to the Malwani police station. “We have arrested the actor based on the woman’s statement and are verifying the allegations,” a Malwani police officer said.
Details of the allegations indicate that the complainant, a 41-year-old house worker, had worked in the homes of several actors before meeting Khan, according to a report by the English daily Mid-day.
False marriage promises
In her statement, the woman said she first met Khan in 2015, and they gradually became close. She alleged that Khan promised to marry her. Based on that assurance, they had physical relations at her home.
The victim claimed that the relationship continued for nearly ten years, with the alleged sexual encounters occurring both at her home and at Nadeem Khan house in Versova. She told police that she kept the relationship going because she believed Khan would marry her. However, she decided to contact the police after he refused to do so, the midday report stated.
According to the police, as cited in the report, “the alleged physical relationship began at the complainant’s house within the jurisdiction of Malvani police, and since the victim lives in that area, Versova Police transferred the case on zero FIR to Malvani police.”
