Veteran actor Dharmendra’s ashes were immersed in the sacred Ganges River on Wednesday morning at Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar. Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, along with Sunny’s son Karan Deol, showed deep emotion while performing the rituals.
Sunny, Bobby, Karan, and other family members arrived in Haridwar on Tuesday for the ceremony. Later that evening, a video surfaced online showing Sunny at the hotel, enjoying tea on the balcony.

On Wednesday, the ashes immersed at a ghat. Several videos of the event appeared on social media. The clips showed only a few people present at the ghat for the rituals. Reports indicated that everyone had told not to share details about the ceremony.
In one video, Bobby became visibly emotional as he embraced Karan and other family members at the ghat. After completing the rituals, the family headed to Jolly Grant Airport.
Dharmendra dies at 89
Dharmendra died at the age of 89 on November 24, just days before his 90th birthday on December 8. He had ill for some time and hospitalized on November 10. He later discharged from Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital and was recovering at home. His cremation perform on November 25 in Mumbai, attended by family members and colleagues from the film industry. Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Salim Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan were among those who paid their last respects at the crematorium.
A prayer meeting in memory of the late actor took place in Mumbai on November 27. Titled Celebration of Life, the gathering organized by the Deol family. Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Rekha, and Aishwarya Rai were among the attendees.
Hema Malini is Dharmendra’s second wife; he earlier married to Prakash Kaur. Prakash and Dharmendra tied the knot in 1954, and they had four children: Sunny Deol, Bobby, Vijeta, and Ajeeta. Hema and Dharmendra have two daughters, Esha and Ahana.
