There is a buzz surrounding the recovery of the icon actor Gurucharan Singh, who is famous for playing Roshan Sodhi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Recently, Gurucharan was admitted to a hospital complaining of severe weakness, raising worry among the fans. Fortunately, the actor is “out of danger” and is recovering at home.

Speaking with News 18, Gurucharan’s father, Hargit Singh, gave an update on his son’s condition. He revealed that the actor’s condition had become critical but has since stabilized. “Gurucharan is doing much better now. He’s been working with God’s grace to regain his strength. “He has started eating nutritious meals and is prioritizing his mental and spiritual health by visiting the Gurudwara,” Hargit said.

Gurucharan Singh Slowly Returns to Routine

The actor is gradually resuming a normal routine. His father said, “Gurucharan. has resumed short trips outside and quiet meditations. However, we’re ensuring he doesn’t overexert himself. With time and care, we are confident he’ll fully recover.

Gurucharan’s hospitalization on January 7 followed a worrying period when he reportedly stopped drinking water for nearly 20 days. This resulted in a loss of consciousness and his severe condition. According to his friend Bhakti Soni, the actor has just closed a deal for ₹13 lakh with a brand that has spurred him to concentrate on his recovery. Bhakti replied, “He will be in Mumbai by the end of the month to shoot for the campaign.

This isn’t the first time Gurucharan has made headlines. The actor disappeared in 2024 and returned home after a spiritual retreat. Indeed, in light of his recovery, fans are thankful to watch him on the road to recovery.
