A Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups has made history even before its theatrical release. In a significant agreement, Sri Venkateswara Creations (SVC), led by prominent Telugu producer and distributor Dil Raju, has obtained the distribution rights for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for ₹120 crore on an advance-on-commission basis.

This deal marks the largest pre-release distribution agreement ever for a non-Telugu film in the Telugu states.

Industry sources report that three major distributors engaged in intense bidding, highlighting the immense hype surrounding the project. Ultimately, SVC secured the rights, showcasing strong confidence in Yash’s box-office appeal, especially following the successful KGF Chapter 2. DilRaju noted that Yash’s popularity in the Telugu market has only intensified, and the four-year wait has heightened audience expectations.

Toxic is written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas, who also directs. The film shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and several other languages, ensuring a broad Indian and global reach.
