Renowned playback singer Udit Narayan’s first wife, Ranjana, went to the Women’s Police Station in Supaul, Bihar. She accused him, his two brothers, and his second wife of serious crimes.
Udit Narayan’s first wife accuse for alleged uterus removal
On Tuesday, Ranjana filed a formal complaint at the police station, accompanied by her lawyer, KarunakantJha. In her application, she claimed she was part of a criminal conspiracy in which her uterus was removed without her knowledge. She said she learned about this yearslater during medical treatment.
Ranjana identified herself as a 61-year-old daughter of ChandrakantJha, living in Sanskrit Nirmali Ward No. 11, which falls under the Balua Bazar Police Station in Supaul district. She mentioned that she married Udit Narayan on December 7, 1984, following Hindu customs.
Complaint filed against Udit and his brothers for this crime
Ranjana said that Udit moved to Mumbai in 1985 to pursue a music career. During this time, she learned through the media that he had married another woman, Deepa Narayan. She claimed he misled her when she asked him about it.
In 1996, Ranjana alleged that Udit, along with his brothers Sanjay Kumar Jha and Lalit Narayan Jha, took her to a major hospital in Delhi for medical treatment, where her uterus was removed without her consent. She claimed that Deepa Narayan was also present at the hospital.
