On 2nd October, two much anticipated films, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari and Kantara Chapter 1, hit the box office. Since it was a national holiday, both films drew large audiences. However, Rishab Shetty’s Kantara is currently ahead. The first day earnings for Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s film have been released, and it is already competing against Kantara.
Varun Dhawan’s film box office collection
According to official figures, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari earned 10.11 crores on its first day. Despite its competition with Kantara, it had a strong opening with double-digit numbers. Improved attendance during the evening and night shows, thanks to the Gandhi Jayanti and Dussehra holiday, contributed to this success.
With this collection, Janhvi Kapoor has a significant reason to celebrate, as this film is her biggest opener ever at the Indian box office. Her top openers now include Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari (10.11 crores), Dhadak (8.71 crores), and Param Sundari (7.37 crores).
