Mazagon Dock Q2 Profit Jumps 28% to ₹749 Crore, Announces ₹6 Dividend

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd reported a 28.1% increase in consolidated net profit to ₹749 crore for the quarter that ended on September 30, 2025. This is compared to ₹585 crore in the same period last year. The rise was driven by higher revenue and improved margins.

Q2 Profits of Mazagon Dock jumps 28%

Revenue from operations grew 6.3% year-on-year to ₹2,929 crore, up from ₹2,756 crore a year ago, according to a regulatory filing from the company.

EBITDA jumped 36.1% to ₹695 crore, compared to ₹510.2 crore a year earlier. The company’s operating margin increased to 23.7% from 18.5%, showing better cost management and operational efficiency. Mazagon Dock, which builds warships and submarines for the Indian Navy, said it continues to see solid progress on its ongoing projects, including the construction of Project 15B destroyers and Project 17A frigates.

Announces ₹6 Dividend during quarter

Mazagon Dock, one of India’s top defense public sector undertakings, has a long-standing relationship with the Indian Navy and Coast Guard.

During the quarter, the board of directors declared an interim dividend of ₹6 per share. The company noted, “This is to inform that, Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on 27 October 2025 has approved the declaration of Interim Dividend of Rs. 6/- per equity share of Rs. 5/- each fully paid-up for the Financial Year 2025-26.”

The company has set November 4, 2025, as the record date for the dividend. It added, “The payment of the same completed on or before 26 November 2025.”
