llia Yefimchyk, the world’s most monstrous bodybuilder died at 36. Nicknamed “The Mutant,” this giant Belarusian bodybuilder stood 6 feet tall, weighed 340 pounds, and died on September 11 after he had a heart attack. He was hospitalized after he had slipped into a coma on September 6. As the most monstrous bodybuilder died, his wife, Anna, compressed his chest until the ambulance came. Yefimchyk’s heart was “reactivated”, but doctors told Anna that his brain activity ended. He died in five days.

By the extraordinary structure of his body, possessing 25-inch biceps, Yefimchyk became famous through such an extreme diet and hard preparation. He took in a giant quota of up to 16,500 calories and usually had to eat more than five pounds of steak and over 100 pieces of sushi within seven meals. Contrary to his reputation in social networks, Yefimchyk never participated in any professional bodybuilding competition.

On the contrary, he shared his workout routine and diet plans on social media; he has amassed millions of followers. Yefimchyk boasted of doing a 600-pound bench press and a 700-pound deadlift. The love he had for bodybuilding inspired so many, but his sudden death once more pointed out the risks of extreme physical regimens.

World’s most monstrous bodybuilder died after two well-known bodybuilders’ deaths

The latest of three deaths to occur recently within the bodybuilding community, his death comes after British bodybuilder Neil Currey, 34, died in September 2023. The death was linked to steroid use. In August, Brazilian bodybuilder Antonio Souza, 26, died from cardiac arrest.

As the most monstrous bodybuilder died, his wife Anna was deeply disappointed by his death. She thanked people for their support in this terrible hour. She wrote:

“I spent every day by his side, hoping, and his heart started beating again for two days, but the doctor gave me the terrible news that his brain had died. I thank everyone for their condolences. It’s very heartwarming to realize that I am not left alone in this world, and so many people have offered me help and support.”

Yefimchyk won great popularity because of his dedication and giant height. He accordingly left his trace in the world of bodybuilding, notwithstanding he had never been involved in professional competition.
