The Delhi government is set to inaugurate 33 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (AAM) in city on May 31. It marks the first phase of a development in top health care services. Each of the Capital’s 11 districts will get as a minimum one of the new centres. Officials work to complete all preparations at these sites by May 27.
According to a list accessed by HT, there will be 3 centres in central Delhi and New Delhi, 4 in south-east Delhi, 4 in west Delhi, 6 in south-west Delhi, and in north Delhi, north-east Delhi, Shahdara, and south Delhi. East Delhi and north-west Delhi can have 1 AAM each.

Each AAM can have a employees of round 10 contributors. It consists medical officials, a pharmacist, auxiliary nurse midwives, a lab technician, a DOTS lab technician, a data entry operator, and a cleanser, officials said.
On 25 April, HT said that Delhi government had selected 70 locations for the initial roll-out of AAMs. It directs the public works department (PWD) to finish project by the end of May. AAM Provide Quality Healthcare Services to Public
Delhi health minister Pankaj Singh stated AAMs will provide top healthcare services. “With the implementation of each AB-PMJAY and PM ABHIM, the country will soon begin creation of 1,139 AAMs. There are 11 public health labs in eleven districts, and 9 critical care medical institute blocks also implement,” he said.
On Thursday, CM Rekha Gupta held a high-level meeting with senior officials of the fitness and family welfare department and the PWD to check the progress of PM Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY), the Vaya Vandana Health Scheme, the Ayushman Arogya Mandir initiative, and numerous clinic infrastructure initiatives, said in Delhi government statement.
