Video goes viral: Bihar man bit the snake and brought it into the hospital

A bizarre video is doing the rounds on social media, and this has again fetched shocking reports, where a Bihar man bit the snake and brought it into the hospital with him. The video shared on Twitter shows the man in a blue dhoti and white vest; an armband was seen.

This footage has captured him walking through a hospital corridor. The bystanders look shocked and capture the scenes of the incident on their mobile cameras, others clear the way for the man who lies down on the floor and places the snake beside him. The source of this video cannot be identified; however, it went viral on the site.

The video apparently shows the aftermath of a snake bite incident in Bhagalpur, Bihar. According to local reports, when a venomous Russell’s Viper bit the man he retaliated by biting the snake in the process. The man reportedly bit the snake and took it to the hospital, as if to dramatize his victory over the reptile. Contrary to all these risks resulting from the venomous snake, which may lead to swelling and decay of tissues if left untreated, the man in the footage appears pretty composed with the snake lying beside him.

People scramble when the man is seen entering the hospital, and some ask for others to make way for him as they try to stay clear of the risk-posing snake. The video has sparked mixed reactions online, with one post humorously remarking, “This is Bihar, brother, where even birds are treated with turmeric, so how can this snake dare to bite and run away?”
