Mukesh Ambani Announce Rs 75,000 Cr Investment plans for India’s Northeast region in coming 5 years

Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani announced main investment plans for India’s Northeast region on Friday (May 23). Speaking at the Rising Northeast Investors Summit, he mentioned the company future plans for the area. He started out by praising the success of Op Sindoor.

“Let me start via saluting our loved Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi ji, for the resounding achievement of Op Sindoor. It is a shining testomony to his solution, and to the unmatched bravery our armed forces,” Ambani said.

Rs 75,000 Cr Investment by Mukesh Ambani in Coming Years

Ambani said that “over the past four decades, we have invested Rs 30,000 crore in the Northeast, and our commitment to the area is only growing stronger. Will invest Rs 75,000 crore over next 5 years in Northeast.”

He also highlighted increasing Jio’s network coverage in the Northeast regions. It also increase Reliance Retail’s procurement, putting in new factories, extensively boosting sun power technology, and supporting the area to emerge as a healthcare hub.

“We will significantly improve solar energy technology in the area. We will convert the area’s big Wasteland into Wealth-Land, by putting in place 350 integrated CBG plants,” the RIL chairman said.

Boost solar energy and strengthen healthcare sector

“Reliance Retail is set to enhance its procurement efforts from the Northeast location as part of its broader investment approach. The agency also aims to boost solar energy technology in the place, contributing to the area’s sustainable energy development,” Mukesh Ambani said. On healthcare, the RIL chairman delivered that “In a step towards strengthening healthcare infrastructure, Reliance has already founded up a 150-bed cancer hospital in Manipur, underscoring its dedication to the location’s growth and nicely-being.”
