Godrej Properties, the real estate hand of the Godrej Industries Group, has entered the Vadodara market. The company buy 34-acre land parcel to develop luxury plotted residential units. The project expected to offer a saleable area of about 9 lakh rectangular feet.
This marks the company second land acquisition in Gujarat in the last year. In October 2024, Godrej obtained a 3-acre parcel in Vastrapur, Ahmedabad, marking its entry into the city’s core residential area.
Strategic location of Godrej Properties’s Vadodara Housing Project
The newly obtained project is located on Ajwa Road, a developing corridor in Vadodara with strong infrastructure and connectivity to city landmarks. The company stated the site’s locational benefits make it suitable for a high-quality residential development.
“We are happy to announce our entry into the vibrant town of Vadodara. Reinforcing our dedication to the state and confidence in the market capability, this acquisition aligns strategically with our attention on entering in high growth towns,” said Gaurav Pandey.
“Ajwa Road offers a amazing possibility for expansion. Our aim is to create a sustainable and thriving community that gives long term value to citizens,” he said.
Robust income and land aggregation
In June, Godrej Properties offered 1,450 homes worth ₹2,000 crore at the release of the first phase of its Barca township at Godrej MSR City in Devanahalli, Bengaluru. That month, it obtained a 16-acre land project in Upper Kharadi, Pune. It is expected to generate ₹3,100 crore in sales.
With this competitive land approach, Godrej Properties continues to boost its presence in Tier-II and Tier-III towns. It consolidate its management in India’s premium residential area.
